Discovering Your Strengths and Learning Strengths from Nature Workshop
This workshop is an interactive, experiential program using art, music, games, movement, discussion/coaching, nature awareness and mindfulness to enable participants to KNOW their self-worth, through learning about their unique strengths. A variety of learning styles are used to help participants discover their strengths, in the learning style that works for them. Every single one of us has intrinsic inner and outer qualities to help us cope positively in life.
The workshop mentors youth & adults about one’s core strengths, that are unique to every one of us. Just as we need to work from our core, when exercising, so we must work from our inner core, to meet life’s challenges and rise up, growing through them rather than being defined by them. Knowing our core strengths, or virtues, carries us through life’s up and downs, maintaining our worth, whether we succeed or fail, win or lose and gives us more than we ever thought possible: The gift of you, in all your innate brilliance and your unique way to help in our world.
Discovering Your Strengths Workshop ( or DYSW) stems from the belief that as kids and adults, know their strengths, they have the power to not only transform their lives, but to transform our troubled world. Roberta Harris is bringing her workshop for adults during our wellness week.
Over the past 7 years, I’ve seen this program can reach kids and adults in a short amount of time.
This program is unique – as I am, and you are. It is a heart centred approach which makes our workshop individual, sensitive and flexible, rather than generic or institutionalized. Everyone can have this special opportunity to feel how deeply valued they are.
