Come and volunteer for a Unicamp work weekend! Give your time & take some great memories with you. Let’s pull together to help put Unicamp to bed for the winter. This weekend also features a facilitated Campfire, a Saturday night Unicamp Dance, a Sunday UU service, and a nice big Sunday Harvest Meal.
Come help us pack up beach toys, close up cabins, clean and close up the kitchen and Dining Hall, chop firewood, and many other tasks. Bring warm outdoor clothes, a toque, extra pairs of thick socks and a warm heart! (Also work clothes, sturdy boots & gloves if you have them). All contributions & abilities are welcome!

Notes about volunteering for the weekend:
– Volunteers are expected to do 5-6 hours of work per day to cover their costs.
– Your accommodation will be chosen by Unicamp staff. If there is a specific cabin you require, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
– Your meals and accommodations are provided free of charge for you while volunteering, with the exception of the Sunday Dinner.
– A reminder that even as a volunteer, you need to please pay for your Harvest Dinner.
– Please sign up for volunteering at least 7 days in advance so we can plan our meals numbers and assign people to accommodations.
– If you’re willing to share half a dorm with someone not booked in your registration, please let us know so that we can maximize our accommodation spaces.
– If there are certain skills and abilities you have to contribute to camp, or tools you can bring to work on specific jobs, please let us know.
– If you are wanting to volunteer but are limited on mobility and want to know what sort of tasks we have, please reach out to us. We have a large to-do list with a large variety of jobs for nearly everyone!
