Lauren Renzetti

Lauren is a long time Unicamper, spending her youth as Staff, Volunteering on the board, Facilitating Family and Children’s Programs and most recently being a seasonal camper who was the Unicamp Artist-in-Residence from 2004-14, 2016-2018 and 2023-2024. The art work installed in bathrooms, outhouses, showers, dining hall deck, in the program centre , dorms and cottages are either creations by Lauren or by events Lauren Facilitated made by Unicampers of all ages and abilities. The large scale paintings residing on the outside of the Program Centre, Rosies, Summerhilll, Dave’s, and the shower house were group efforts often done by more than two hundred pairs of hand. Art making in community helps to make a stronger community. Lauren feels strongly that the inherent wellbeing of a person is definitely fostered in daily making and creativity. Lauren is a practicing artist, curator, art teacher (at the AGO, and Seneca Polytechnic), and scenic painter  in film and television in Toronto.
