Susanne Maziarz

Susanne Maziarz (she/her) has been the Music Director at Neighbourhood UU Congregation in Toronto for 19 years where she leads the Spirit Choir and Spirit Band. Her spiritual and musical practices focus on being present to the moment through improvisation and creative spontaneous collaboration. She is the founder of the Comfort Choir that sings bi-weekly in the Palliative Care ward at her local hospital and believes music is medicine. She sings for collective liberation with Sumudna Protest Choir and is a member of Coro Luminaire. She is also a pianist, composer, singer-songwriter, and arranger.
